I was born in Germany and upon my 18th Birthday I traveled to California. My friends and I decided to travel to Alaska in 1968 for a visit and upon arriving I have decided to stay. In 1970 I married my husband in what was known as Williwaw Lodge in Wasilla and in 1971 we welcomed our daughter. From 1971 to 1977 we lived in Anchorage where I worked and was a partner in a Hair Salon. We than decided to move back to the Matanuska Susitna Valley where I passed my Realtors exam and went into selling Real Estate while my husband ran our construction company. In the mid 80's I decided to merge my Real Estate company Caribou Johnson with Double Eagle Real Estate. My partner and I ran our company together till the late 90's when she decided to retire and I took over the company in its entirety. I am proud of where my company has gone and as time moves forward so do we.
